“ I absolutely love it here. From the EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE, to the AMAZING ATMOSPHERE, AND THE DELICIOUS MOUTH WATERING FOOD. Morgan has to be one of the best servers I've ever met, The food David and his crew made was out of this world amazing and made fresh to order, yet I received it quickly in a timely manner. Although it was packed i did not wait long to be seated. From the time I stepped on to the premises, it was nothing but great vibes. And let's not forget about the Manager Shawn. He is a humble man who takes time to help his crew and acknowledge his guest. I love the energy everyone provided. And I am so happy Morgan was my server but everyone here works with each other like a team, better yet a family. Love it here and I will be back as well as bring others. ”
“ Dinner on a Thursday night, busy but not crowded, table available right away. Got the Ahi Tuna starter which was good. Staff recommended the pork chop and it was huge. ”
“ They were extremely busy so it took a while to get food but it didn't take away from the great tasting food and awesome bartender. We ate on the second floor. The tall bartender was very cool and attentive so he checked on it personally. The cooks did a great job on the meal. ”
“ The balcony bar offers a great view of the inner coastal and inlet. Great place to watch so many boats and the Dolfins. Food and drinks are excellent, and the service is superb! ”
“ Nice place for drinks and food. This has the look and feel of a locals place, and the view of the water is really nice. Went in on a Tuesday and heard some nice music playing and enjoyed some great drinks and food. Had the peel and eat shrimp, and to my delight, the shrimp were deveined and very easy to peel. Wife ordered majo majo tacos with firecracker sauce, and she enjoyed them. Margarita and painkiller drinks were in order, and both were made top notch. ”
“ Wanted a place near our condo with reasonable priced food and good atmosphere. This place did not disappoint. Live music was awesome. The food was excellent as well with good sized portions for good prices. We had the fried cauliflower with sweet chili sauce and it was great. The Asian lettuce wraps were also pretty good. I ordered the blackened mahi Baja tacos and they were delicious. Great sizes with lots of fish. Service was quick and accurate although we arrived at 5:30. ”
“ We LOVE the Toasted Monkey for their rooftop bar, amazing water views, food and live music. We usually sit at the rooftop bar and enjoy our drinks and meals with a view and the breeze, but the bottom level is set up as an outdoor restaurant with tables and waitresses if you’re looking for a more family friendly way to enjoy a meal. The rooftop bar overlooks the area of water at the end of Treasure Island where St Pete begins and the beautiful waterway between the two. The staff is awesome, the food servings are huge and my husband is addicted to their homemade hot sauce. Our order: Nachos with veggies plus a side of salsa Parking is decent as there are numerous buildings and lots to park. Just circle the building as people are always coming and going. ”
“ My fiance and I went to our favorite spot next door, Buoy's, for dinner. This was our 2nd time there. We wanted to make it a point to go to the Toasted Monkey this year, and we found it it's the same owner as Buoy's. We went after dinner for several drinks and sat on the rooftop and watched the sunset. We loved it. The place was packed and everyone was having a great time. Live music as well. We even bought some Toasted Monkey gear. Such a cool spot for some drinks, beautiful view, and a lively atmosphere where everyone is having a good time. Can't wait to come back! ”
